Elizabeth Coleman Doolittle Peyton

Elizabeth "Betty" Peyton, 91, passed into the loving arms of her Lord on Sunday, February 8, 2015.

Betty was born on November 5, 1923 in Dublin, Georgia to the late Gordon Coleman and Dolly Harvey Romaine. She was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to the raising of her children and the making of a home. For over 50 years, Betty was a much-loved member of First Baptist Church Warner Robins and was very active in the NCO Wives Club. She was an avid bowler as well.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ronald Gary Doolittle; her parents; sister, Kathleen C. Hawkins; and brothers, Nelson, Alvin, Newton and General Coleman.

Betty's memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Bettyann Doolittle Martin (Stephen) of Alpharetta and Franklin Gordon Doolittle of Paradise Valley, Arizona; two granddaughters, two grandsons; two great-grandchildren; and several adoring nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with burial immediately following. Reverend Jeff Cleghorn will officiate.
