Elizabeth Ann Strange, 84, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2026, surrounded by family at Brightmoor Hospice in Macon, Georgia.

Born on June 19, 1942, in Rockingham, North Carolina, Elizabeth’s life was a testament to family, love, and laughter. Elizabeth retired from Utility Service in Perry, Georgia as the office manager, working with Mr. Frank Shelton for many years.

However, her greatest passion in life was being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, a lovely wife, and a great friend. Her presence will be deeply missed. The world is a lot smaller with her gone.

Elizabeth was an avid reader, loved to shop, and loved her computer games. She was married to Bill for 30 years and they enjoyed doing home projects and spending time with family.

Preceded her in death were her youngest son, Samuel (Pete) Sarvis, and her sister, Joyce.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Bill; her sister, Janet (Brad); and her children, Debi (Pat), Shelia (Jay), Richard (Sherri), and Paul. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elizabeth was a light to many in life and her greatest title will always be “Momma.”

Visitation will be held at McCullough Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Later, there will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
