Ellis Albert ''Al'' Thames, Jr.

Services for Ellis Albert ''Al'' Thames, Jr., age 51, will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Centerville United Methodist Church. Graveside services will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley.

Mr. Thames was born in Macon, Georgia and resided most of his life in Warner Robins, Georgia. He worked for the City of Warner Robins and ran a tree removal service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ellis A. Thames, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Linda Thames; his mother, Mary "Polly" Thames; sisters, Tracie Garner and Maryann Brantley; brother-in-law, Milton Garner; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald T. Prater; and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 23, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
