Elmer Lee Teal, Sr.

Elmer Teal, 87, entered into rest on Friday, October 23, 2015.

Elmer was born on December 11, 1927 in Barnesville, Georgia to the late Mitchell L. and Claudia R. Teal. A proud World War II Veteran, he served his country in the United States Army Air Force and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Elmer was an avid billiard player and loved his dog "Miss Bella," and his family most of all.

His beloved wife, Julia B. Teal; son, Elmer L. "Pee Wee" Teal, Jr.; parents; brothers, Jack H. Teal and Eugene Teal; sister, Velma R. Teal; preceded him in death.

Elmer's memory will forever be treasured by his loving son, Donald T. Teal (Michelle Ferry) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Brian Teal (Kelli), Mitchell L. Teal (Ashley), Joseph S. Teal, Derek T. Teal, and Matthew A. Teal; great-grandchildren, Sadie, Elijah, and Kinsley; and brothers, James C. Teal (Margaret) of Valdosta and Kenneth Teal (Ruth) of Thomaston.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 27, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
