Emily Elizabeth Shaffstall, 30, entered into rest on Monday, April 20, 2026.

Born in York, Pennsylvania, Emily was the beloved daughter of Laura Shaffstall and Robert Shaffstall. She worked as a department manager at Buc-ee’s.

Emily truly embraced life fully and joyfully. She had a deep love for reading and was a gifted writer. A devout Disney enthusiast, Emily found magic in both the stories she loved and the world around her. She also enjoyed letting her imagination run wild while playing video games.

Known for her quirky sense of humor and genuine spirit, Emily had a way of making others smile and feel at ease. Her zest for life, kindness, and individuality will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her parents, Laura Shaffstall of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Robert Shaffstall of California; siblings, Lonnie James Shaffstall (Lauren) of Macon, and Melissa Rochelle Shaffstall (Leon Bain) of Warner Robins; nephews, Kevin James Shaffstall and Thomas Wright Shaffstall; grandparents, Deborah Mealey of Utah, and Joan Shaffstall of California; along with several other loving family members and friends.

At the family’s request, all services held will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Emily Elizabeth Shaffstall to Blood Cancer United, at the Blood Cancer United Mail Center, 1201 15th Street N.W., Suite 410, Washington, D.C., 20005.
