Emma Kate Sayers

Emma Kate Sayers, 98, passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, October 7, 2015.

Kate was born on August 15, 1917 in Chambers County, Alabama. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Kate loved being outdoors and working in her yard. Those who knew Kate, know that she had a joyful spirit and loved to put a smile on other's faces.

Her husband, James Olin Sayers, and parents, William and Mae White Ray, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sister-in-law, Alice Young of LaGrange; dear friends, Ann Mosley of Kellyton, Alabama, Jean Banks, and Wayne and Pauline Abbott.

Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Mrs. Sayers will be laid to rest in Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange, Georgia at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015.
