Erma M. Glass

Erma M. Glass, 81, entered into rest on Monday, October 20, 2008.

Mrs. Glass was born on July 7, 1927, in Penfield, Illinois. A devoted homemaker, she was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Diet Club at Friendship. Her husband, George Glass; son, John Harmon Glass; and parents, John H. Hightshoe and Treasy E. Cox Hightshoe, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Connie Nicholson (James), Texas, Bonnie Angers (Gerald), Louisiana, and Daniel Glass (Dosta), Mississippi; brother, John Hightshoe (Nelma), Texas; sister, Ethel Myers, Illinois; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Reverend Sydney Odom officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice Care Options, 1125 Walnut Street, Macon GA 31201.
