Esther Marie Ann Stephens, 62, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Houston Medical Center. She was born on February 27, 1963, to the late Benjamin Thomas and Harriette Pinford Chambers.
Esther grew up in Byron, where she attended Peach County High School. After her education, she married the love of her life, Marty, and dedicated herself as a loving homemaker. Esther’s heart was devoted to her family and found joy in taking care of them. She was known for her delicious cooking, and her ability to create a welcoming home for all who entered.
Esther will be remembered for the love she shared with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 40 years, Marty Dwayne Stephens of Warner Robins; children, Thomas Wayne Stephens (Tracy) of Centerville, and Stephanie Marie Harriett Atkins (Paul) of Fort Mill, South Carolina; grandchildren, Sean Thomas Stephens, Angel Leigh Stephens, Paul Ethan Atkins, Priscilla Marie Ann Atkins, Johnny James Atkins, and Joshua Beau Atkins; sister, and Johnnie Langston; as well as a host of beloved extended family members and friends.
Esther Marie Ann Stephens will be laid to rest privately at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
