Estill Ray Higgs

Estill Ray Higgs, 82, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, September 30, 2017.

Mr. Higgs was born on November 16, 1934, in Island Station, Kentucky to the late Grover C. and Mary Martin Higgs. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Higgs was an avid golfer, especially enjoying his golf rounds at International City Golf Club. He was preceded in death by his sons, David Ray Higgs and Wayland Scott Higgs; and his siblings, Walter Higgs, Arthur Higgs, Wayland Higgs, Dallas Higgs, Gladis Hanes, and Eugene Higgs.

His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife, Linda Sue McPherson Higgs; his children, Curtis Lee Higgs (Helga) of Cartersville, Georgia, Sandra Jo Boyken of Palatka, Florida, and Tina Michelle Frizzell (Fredrick Nelson) of Warner Robins; his 18 grandchildren; and his brother Floyd Higgs.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Higgs’s arrangements.
