Eugene L. Mason, Sr.

Eugene L. Mason, Sr., 85, died Tuesday, January 22 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 24 in Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, GA. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1403 Watson Blvd, Warner Robins, 31093 or Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA, 31093.

Mr. Mason was born in Chicago, IL. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army. He was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base and a member of Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ernestine Segraves Mason and his parents, Axel W. and Ethel Mason.

Survivors include his sons, Eugene L. Mason, Jr., Fitzgerald, GA; and Marion O. Mason, Hanahan, SC.
