Evelyn L. Ellis, age 80, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Ellis was born on August 14, 1942, and raised in Houston County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Clyne and Verna Thompson. Mrs. Ellis was retired from Robins Air Force Base.
Her husband, Charles W. Ellis; parents; and two sisters, Frances Harrison and Ruth Fetters preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Michael C. Ellis (Lauren) of Warner Robins, Georgia; five grandchildren, Chandler Linn, Ginny Ellis, Veronica Ellis, Marissa Linn, and Isabella Ellis; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Macon Memorial Park, where Mrs. Ellis will be laid to rest.
As we gather to bid farewell to Mrs. Ellis, let us celebrate the wonderful life she lived and the love she shared. Her memory will remain etched in our hearts, and her legacy will continue to inspire us.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Evelyn L. Ellis to Green Acres Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Elberta Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
