Evelyn Murray Tucker

Evelyn Tucker, 97, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

Evelyn was born on February 29, 1920 in Fitzgerald, Georgia; she was the youngest of eleven children. In the early 1950's she moved to Warner Robins where she became a member of First United Methodist Church. Later, Evelyn opened and operated Evelyn's Beauty Shop from 1962 until 2007. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Her beloved husband, Orion Thomas Tucker, and parents, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Larry Tucker (Barbara) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Ryan Tucker and Jarred Tucker, both of Warner Robins; Leah Fox (Mike) of Kathleen; great-grandchildren, Mia and McKenzie Fox, both of Kathleen; as well as several other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, April 10, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery where Evelyn will be laid to rest.
