Fannie Mae Yelverton

Fannie Mae Yelverton, 81, joined her beloved husband, M.L. Yelverton in Heaven on Tuesday, December 1, 2015.

Fannie was born to the late Moody and Fannie Williams Gatlin in Shubuta, Mississippi. She was a wonderful homemaker who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Green Acres Baptist was her church home.

In addition to her husband and parents, Fannie was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Debra Crow (Larry) and Darrell Yelverton (Carol), both of Warner Robins, David Yelverton (Becky) of Bonaire, Lowell Yelverton of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Rev. Keith Yelverton (Tera) of Shubuta, Mississippi; grandchildren, Alaina Crow Bennett (Andy), Karen Crow Borreson (Zac), and Caleb, Gatlin, Callee, Jack, Luke, and Mariana Yelverton; four great-grandchildren; sister, Sue Morrison of Laurel, Mississippi; and a host of adoring nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Yelverton will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Fannie Mae Yelverton to Green Acres Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Elberta Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
