Faye Laverne Spann

March 6, 1943 — January 28, 2023

On the evening of Saturday, January 28, 2023, Faye Laverne Spann, 79, entered into the gates of heaven.

Faye was born on March 6, 1943, in Augusta, Georgia to the late Arthur and Dorothy Nicholas Briscoe. She married her love, James Robert “Bob” Spann on February 5, 1979. In April of that same year, Faye and Bob moved to Germany where they were able to spend the best honeymoon ever; nine years in Europe. She loved to travel and had the option to do so as she moved with her husband during his military career, but Germany would always be her favorite place to live. Faye enjoyed shopping and adored her dogs of which she had many throughout the years but Maddie and Muffy stole her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty-three years, Bob Spann; children, Norman Bryant (Fanny) of Kathleen and Steven Bryant (Debbie) of Evans; grandchildren, Tyler Bryant of Evans, Amanda Bryant of Evans and Sarah Bryant of Orlando, Florida; brother, Phillip Briscoe of North Augusta, South Carolina, and sister, Carolyn Malteni of Bonaire.

The funeral service celebrating Faye’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Robby Passmore officiating.
