Flossie Cumbus

Flossie Cumbus, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 3, 2017.

Flossie was born in Thomaston, Georgia on February 11, 1928 to the late William Frank and Susie Mae Conley. Living most of her life in Warner Robins, she fully devoted herself to serving her late husband, Rodney Felton Cumbus, Sr., and raising their son and daughter in a loving home. A former member of Second Baptist Church, Flossie was an avid Elvis fan who loved doing crossword puzzles, working outdoors, and spending time with her family and dog.

Flossie leaves her memory behind with her loving children, Linda Diane Bateman and Rod Cumbus, Jr. (Karen), both of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Randy Whittemore, Michelle Rauhut (Joe), Keith Whittemore (Christy), and Dwayne Cumbus (Cheryl); great-grandchildren, Breanna Allen, Kelvin Allen, Jr., Laurel Cumbus, and Charlie Cumbus; sisters, Susanne Hickman of Barnesville and Jackie Garner (Quinton) of Zebulon; and her precious dog, “Farley.”

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7th at Magnolia Park Mausoleum where Flossie will be laid to rest.

McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mrs. Cumbus’ arrangements.
