Frances Elaine Privette, 89, passed away on the morning of Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Summer’s Landing of Warner Robins, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion to family and community.

Elaine was born on November 20, 1934, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Thomas Clinton and Annie Clarissa Hale Stevens. While completing her high school education, she distinguished herself as a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society. Her commitment to education led her to a career as a paraprofessional for the Houston County Board of Education, where she undoubtedly touched the lives of many students with her dedication and passion.

A woman of the Christian faith, Elaine was a devoted member of Friendship Baptist Church. Her commitment to her local community extended beyond the church walls, as she actively participated in various organizations, including the Central Georgia Amateur Radio Club and Rosewood Garden Club. Her green thumb and love for flowers were further evidenced by her role as a Master Flower Show Judge and Landscaping Judge.

On April 20, 1954, Elaine married the love of her life, Samuel, and embarked on a journey as a proud military wife, supporting her husband through eighteen years of dedicated service. Her strength and resilience during her husband's military career were a testament to her character and love for her family. Elaine was also a doting mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt. Her love for her family was evident in the warmth of family get-togethers, especially during the Christmas season. She had a special talent for creating a sense of togetherness and joy during these cherished moments.

Beyond her familial roles, Elaine had a passion for sewing, showcasing her creativity and skill. Her pets, "Snoopy" and "Peaches," were not just animals but cherished companions that brought joy and comfort to her life.

Elaine leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories, love, and contributions to her community. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ellis Privette; son, Steven Martin Privette; and siblings, Patricia Robertson, Thomas Clinton Stevens Jr., and Jane Green.
