Frances F. Thompkins

Frances Thompkins, 61, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2006. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will be in Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery located in Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Mrs. Thompkins was born on December 18, 1944 in Knoxville, TN. She had been a resident of Warner Robins since 1966. Frances was employed for forty years in civil service at Robins Air Force Base where she worked as a branch chief. Her parents, Houston and Blanche Faulkner Fitzgerald, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, William H. Thompkins; son, David Thompkins; grandson, Dakota Thompkins, all of Warner Robins; sister, Olivia Fitzgerald and brother, Houston Fitzgerald, both of Raleigh, NC.
