Frances Griffin Seabolt

Frances Griffin Seabolt, 77, died Monday, June 16, 2003. Services will be held on Friday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Hope Church. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Buckhead City Cemetery, Buckhead, GA. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mrs. Seabolt was born in Asheville, NC, to the late John Smith Griffin and Marcia Griffin Neilson. She was employed as a private duty nurse until 1964 and as a sheet metal mechanic in civil service at Robins Air Force Base until 1970. She was owner and operator of the Baby Boutique in Warner Robins and in Macon. Additionally, Mrs. Seabolt volunteered for the American Red Cross and was a member of Christian Hope Church, the Christian Hope Singles Club, CASA, Military Surviving Spouses, Parents Without Partners, Centerville Senior Citizens, and the Warner Robins Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jesse Seabolt; son, Robert Jerry Seabolt; and granddaughter, Terry Lynn Seabolt.

Survivors include her children, Clyde Raymond Seabolt, Byron; William Anthony Seabolt, Knoxville, GA; Michael Francis Seabolt, Gray; David Kent Seabolt, Bonaire; and Sharon Seabolt Giddens, Eastman; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
