Frank Sewell Singleton, 80, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2004 after an extended illness in North Augusta, SC. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, at Bonaire First Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 6, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Born on December 17, 1923 in Centre, Alabama, Mr. Singleton served in the United States Army in WWII. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base, where he worked as a Packaging Specialist. Mr. Singleton was a member of the Mason Lodge #218 in Centre, AL and NARFE. He was preceded in death by his parents Wade Gordon Singleton and Cora Lambert Singleton.
Survivors include, wife of 52 years, Nellie Sue Singleton; son, Michael Frank Singleton (Peggy), Warner Robins; son, Danny Lane Singleton (Debbie), Bonaire; daughter, Pamela Kay Campbell (Jim), Statesboro; brother, Wade Gordon Singleton, Jr., Leesburg, AL; sister-in-law, Earline Singleton, Leesburg, AL; sister-in-law Alma Singleton, Centre, AL; grandson, Rusty Singleton, Warner Robins; grandson, Matthew Singleton, Warner Robins; grandson, Lane Singleton, Eatonton; granddaughter, Allison Singleton, Warner Robins; grandson, Chris Campbell, Statesboro; grandson, Michael Campbell, Statesboro; granddaughter, Laura Campbell, Statesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
