Frank LeRoy Tracy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and servant of Christ, entered his heavenly home on November 11, 2025. He was born on November 20, 1941, in Davenport, Iowa, to the late Frank and Norma Tracy.
A proud veteran of the Korean War, Frank served his country faithfully before dedicating his life to a higher calling. He worked tirelessly to help establish Good News Clubs and was deeply involved in the Child Evangelism Fellowship, serving as Pastor and Director of the Middle Georgia chapter. Alongside his devoted wife, Mary, Frank served as a missionary through Liberty Baptist Church, reaching countless children and families through their ministry.
Frank’s joyful spirit was evident in everything he did. Many will remember him as “Patches the Clown,” alongside Mary, as Lavender Lue, bringing laughter, light, and the message of God’s love wherever they went. He was a fixture at the Georgia National Fair, where he delighted in meeting people and spreading joy.
A prolific artist, Frank’s creativity flowed through his many paintings, which he loved to gift to others. He was also a gifted storyteller and author, writing books that shared his life’s journey and testimony of faith. He had a deep love for travel and for connecting with family near and far.
Frank lived a life of purpose, service, and joy. His legacy of love, laughter, and faith will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know him.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary; and siblings, Maxine Tracy and Dick Tracy.
