Frederick Clinton Yarbrough, 67, passed away on June 17, 2004. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in Hazlehurst, Mr. Yarbrough was the son of the late Perry and Cora Yarbrough. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a retired aircraft inspector, having served during both the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict and earning the rank of Technical Sergeant. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Hazlehurst. His parents and brother, James Yarbrough, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Verlie M. Yarbrough, Warner Robins; son and his wife, Russell and Elizabeth Smith, Griffin; son and his friend, Timothy C. Yarbrough and Heather Longbine, Warner Robins; sister, Francis Page, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Jamie Smith, Andrew Smith, and Cassandra Faye Smith; and loving puppy, Rhett.
