Frieda S. Skinner, 78, died Monday, May 6 at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, May 9, at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mrs. Skinner was born in Dettlebach, Germany. She was retired and had been a self-employed seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. Thomas Skinner and her parents, Joseph and Theresia Schuster.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Skinner, Raleigh, NC; son, William W. Skinner, Warner Robins; sisters, Hildagard Collins, Irwinton, GA; Hannelore Sargent, Glenndale, CA; as well as four brothers all living in Germany and finally, her beloved dog and companion, Willie.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
