Gail Carroll

Gail Carroll, 58, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 18, 2017.

Gail was born on July 29, 1959 in Augusta, Georgia. She was proud of her time in civil service at Robins Air Force Base as a Management Analyst until her retirement. Gail was a member of Second Baptist Church and loved serving the Lord there. Gail was proud of her marriage and joyfully followed her husband wherever his job took him. Gail enjoyed time by the pool and the beach but especially loved time spent with her beloved family. Her greatest accomplishments were being a child of God and a loving and devoted wife and grandmother. Gail’s family has a lifetime of memories with her that they will treasure forever.

Her father, Grover Handley, Jr., preceded her in death.

Gail will be missed by her loving husband of 37 years, James Carroll of Byron; children, April M. Sangster, Joshua R. Carroll (Amanda); grandchildren, Charlie, Lauren, Kaylee, Julie, Natalie; mother, Vera Addison Handley; and siblings, Kay Jones (Mark), Mike Handley (Brandi) and Merle Handley.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Second Baptist Church. Gail will be laid to rest in Georgia Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Gail Carroll to Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 2504 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
