Genetta Gertrude Franklin

Genetta "Jean" Gertrude Franklin, 79, entered into rest on Monday, June 7, 2010.

Ms. Franklin was born on January 28, 1931, in Sulphur, Oklahoma, and was a devoted homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Avery E. Franklin; parents, George C. Miller and Nella G. Cecil Miller; and brother George C. Miller, Jr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Michael D. Franklin (Marti), Adairsville, and Wayne E. Franklin (Deborah), Bonaire; brother, Archie Miller (Jewel), Missouri; grandchildren, Michael M. Franklin (Leigh Anne), Adam C. Franklin, Anna Mull (Randy), Avery A. Franklin (Rebecca) and Brandy Snyder (Jonathon); and great-grandchildren, Hannah Franklin, Haley Franklin, Sydney Graham, Jenny Franklin, Aiden Franklin, Katie Beth Franklin and Lucas Mull.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 9, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Chaplain Steve Womack officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
