Geneva N. Starnes

Geneva N. Starnes, 92, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2007.

Mrs. Starnes was born on July 16, 1915 in Piedmont, Alabama. She attended Evergreen Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all. Her husband, Kendell Starnes; parents, Willie and Mary Kendell Norton; daughter, Iris Lusk, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, LaMoye “Pat” Starnes (Barbara), Bonaire; son-in-law, Donald Lusk, Merritt Island, Florida; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 2, 2007 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Magnolia Park Mausoleum with graveside services to follow at 3:00 p.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to American Cancer Society-Macon Office, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, Georgia 31201.
