George E. Hobbs

George “Eddie” Hobbs, 63, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2006. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The family may be contacted at 705 Miller Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31093.

Mr. Hobbs was born on September 21, 1942 in Ashburn, Georgia. Eddie was previously employed with CTJ Construction Company. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Association. His parents, George Gilbert Hobbs and Lorene Little Hobbs, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Georgia and Leon Johnson, Rochelle; sisters, Peggy (Johnny) Meadows and Betty Hobbs, both of Warner Robins; Annie Ruth (Larry) North, OK; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
