George Lore

George Lore, devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. He was 56.

Born on March 23, 1959 in Atlanta, Georgia, George was one of four boys and two girls to the late John F. and Alice B. Lore. He was a truck driver for many years, a profession that he loved, and enjoyed spending time with his family whenever he was home. Building models and bowling were his favorite hobbies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Liz Holman, and brothers, Edward and John Lore.

George leaves his memory behind with his beloved wife of 36 years, Kathy Stewart Lore and children, Jennifer Moody, Travis Lore (Sabrina) and Jason Lore, all of Bonaire; grandchildren, Anna Moody and Abagail Coley; siblings, James Lore (Reba) of Acworth and Margaret Carter (Larry) of McDonough; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
