Gerard A. Hetes

Gerard A. Hetes, 84, entered into rest on March 20, 2013.

Mr. Hetes was born on July 2, 1928 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force for three years. He retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was a Quality Control Supervisor. His parents, Andrew and Anna Hetes, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of sixty two years, Glenda Amelia Hetes, Warner Robins; children, Steve Hetes (Carol), Stacy Jones (Robert), Sharon McIntyre (John), Stan Hetes (Krissy); grandchildren, Troy Hetes (Holly), Keith Hetes (Chrissie), Jason Jones (Trisha), Jennifer Nugent (Chris), Sarah Porcello (Leo), Devon Brock (Jeremy), Erin Pender (Doug), Galen Hetes; and twenty great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday evening, March 22, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Fred Nijem officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
