Gil W. Barwick

Gil W. Barwick, Jr., 61, passed away on Tuesday, May, 17, 2005 at Houston Medical Center due to an illness. Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, May 20, 2005, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2005 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Barwick was born in Tallahassee, Florida. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietman War. He was also a dealer for the Trike Shop in Byron, Georgia. His father, Gilbert W. Barwick, Sr., preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Beulah Barwick; wife, Shirley V. Barwick, Byron; son, Kevin Barwick, Tallahassee, Florida; daughter, Kristen Barwick, Byron; step children, Byron Morgan (Robin), Warner Robins; Dawn Martin, Warner Robins; Darien Morgan (Beverly), Byron; Chris Morgan, Macon; grandchildren, Faith Martin, Kayla Martin, Kirk Martin, Dustin Morgan, Blake Barwick, Bradley Morgan, Collin Morgan, Kassidy Hopkins, Dillon Morgan, Mason Morgan, Aaron Morgan; sister; Violet Hatcher (Bill); niece, Candace Allen; nephew, Allen Herring; and several cousins.
