Gladys Olene Chatham

Gladys Olene (Granny) Chatham, 94, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 4, 2007, following an extended stay in a local nursing home, where she received excellent care. She was born July 30, 1913, in Cullman, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Woodrow Chatham.

She is survived by sons James Sanford (Jim) Chatham, Macon; Douglass Chatham, Kathleen; daughters Brenda Reeser and Freda Chatham, both of Crystal River, Florida; nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2007, at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev Tim Long officiating

The family wishes to express their deep gratitude and appreciation to the staff of Warner Robins Rehab and Nursing Center for the great love and care extended to Granny Chatham. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you visit a family member or friend in a nursing home.
