Glenda “Faye” Allen, 76, passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Rome, Georgia, on March 25, 1949, Faye was the daughter of the late Arthur B. and Dorothy Louise Williams Weathers. She graduated from Warner Robins High School in 1967 and began working at White Diamond. Faye later went on to retire as a secretary with the Georgia Forestry Commission.
Faye had a heart as big as her smile. She never met a stranger and greeted everyone with warmth and kindness. She loved everyone genuinely, unconditionally, and without hesitation. Family was everything to her, and she poured her heart into caring for those around her.
Her favorite moments were those spent playing computer games, sipping on a Mountain Dew, and watching her favorite soap operas.
Faye’s legacy of kindness and her beautiful spirit will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Tammy Barber and Dustin Williams; grandchildren, Courtney Robinson, and Coty Robinson; great-grandchildren, Dallas Williams, Cylee “Peanut” Williams, Caelyn, Hensely, Ivy, Aliah Jaydn, Chasten Scott, Josiah Xavier, and Journee Skye; as well as siblings, Shirley Ann Huff (Bud) and Betty Jo DeZorzi, all of Blue Ridge.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, with a visitation one hour prior in Bonaire Cemetery where Glenda “Faye” Allen will be laid to rest.
