Grady Dixon, 81, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
Grady was born on January 2, 1939 in Macon, Georgia, to the late James and Cleo Dixon. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Army until his retirement following twenty-one years of dedicated service. After his military career, Grady continued working as the manager at Orkin Pest Control. Grady loved to travel and made Perry, Florida, his home for the last eight years. He enjoyed working his puzzles and any time he was able to spend with his family.
Along with his parents, Grady was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Marie Dixon, and one grandson.
His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Michael Lee Dixon (Alison) of Kathleen, and daughter, Debra Dixon of Eatonton; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 28, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with graveside services following at 2:00 p.m. in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
