Gregory Don’Ta Smith, Jr., 16, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.

Gregory was born on August 1, 2006, in Macon, Georgia. Gregory was a student at Veterans High School. He loved fishing, singing, dancing, and praying.

His memory will forever be treasured by his parents, Gregory & Kendra Smith; siblings, KeShawn Smith, Shananya Smith, Jaqwan Smith, Gregory Smith and Kim Smith; well devoted grandmother, Geraldine Smith and Mary Mosely; granddaddy, Albert Smith; uncles, Jermaine, Ronald, Albert, Andrew, and Milton; Aunts, Alfreda, Priscilla, Shundy, Keyla, Gloria, Rose, and Tiffany; Pastor Ronda Jeff; along with a host of loving family members and friends.

He will lie in state Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Gregory will be laid to rest in Piney Grove Cemetery.
