Halcyeon Alexis Nowack, 77, of Warner Robins, GA, passed away at home on August 28, 2026.

Born in New York City, NY, attended Walton High School in NYC, St John’s Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing in NY, and Textile University in Philadelphia, PA. Halcyeon spent a career as a Registered Nurse, having worked at Hahnemann University Hospital for years, served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy in the Nurse Corps, and also worked at the US Army Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, GA, and the SC Dept of Corrections. 

Halcyeon was formerly a member of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim synagogue in Charleston, SC. She loved chihuahuas and history.

She is preceded in death by her beloved brother, William Nowack, and sister, Roberta (Nowack) Guthrie. 

Halcyeon is survived by her son, Matthew Sadoon, her granddaughter, Amanda (Scharff) Messmer, of Southeastern PA.
