Hattie Estelle Langston

A beloved Middle Georgia native, Hattie Estelle Langston, 84, entered into rest on Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Born on January 26, 1941, in Byron, Georgia, Hattie was the daughter of the late Howell Steve and Hattie Mae Leverette Ammons.

Hattie devoted her life to her Christian faith and family. She was a longtime member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and most recently attended the Solid Rock Community Church. Hattie lovingly raised her children and grandchildren. She found great joy in supporting them throughout their lives, especially cheering them on at their sporting events. In her spare time, Hattie enjoyed bowling, fishing, and cherishing the moments surrounded by those she loved.

In addition to her parents, Hattie was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Evans Langston, and a beloved infant brother.

Left to treasure her memory are her sons, Allen Steve Langton, Kenneth Evans Langston (Johnnie), all of Warner Robins, and Gregory Tod Langston (Stephanie) of Perry; daughter, Sheila Diane Langston of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Heather Lovell (Mickey), Hollie and Kenneth Langston, Alexander Baker (Becky) and Eric Baker (Ashli); nine great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Ammons; as well as several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, July 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Hattie Estelle Langston will be laid to rest in the Leverett Family Cemetery.
