Hellon Irby Barnhill

Hellon Irby Barnhill, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 25, 2012.

Mrs. Barnhill was born on January 28, 1927 in Meridian, Mississippi. She was a Charter Member of Green Acres Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for twenty five years. The wife of a Baptist Minister, she was the true epitome of a woman of strong faith, a wonderful, loving homemaker, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. Hellon also retired from Coldwell Banker of Warner Robins where she was a Realtor. Her beloved husband of fifty-six years, Archie Boyd Barnhill, and her parents, James and Delilah Irby, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Mitzi Chriss (Jeffrey), St. Petersburg, Florida; Grace Coley (Gary), Warner Robins; Ronnie Barnhill (Carol), Newark, California; grandchildren, Crista Chua, Tiffany Speir, Tamra Merservey, Shalae' Lechuga, Catlin Chriss, and twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, July 27, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2302 Parklake Drive N.E. Ste. 210, Atlanta, Georgia 30345 or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
