Henry Morales, 54, entered into rest on Saturday, September 19, 2009. He was born on December 2, 1954, in Manhattan, New York, after his family emigrated from Puerto Rico. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army and participated in the Granada conflict, and retired with the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was fluent in both English and Spanish. He was employed at Robins Air Force Base where he worked with the 402nd Maintenance Squadron. His church home was Our Lady of Skies Catholic Church. Mr. Morales was a member of the VFW, Moose Club; he enjoyed exercising, weight lifting, boxing and watching football. He was a loving family man, husband, father and grandfather. His mother, Conrada Morales and Sister Sandra; preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Patricia Morales, Bonaire; children Lisa Walker (Jeff), Auburn, Alabama; Henry Jason (Sarah), Harrison Township, Michigan; Jonathan (Heather), Fort Bragg, North Carolina; grandchildren Isa, and Enrique Miguel Morales, Ansleigh, Emarie and Rylee Morales; Robbie and Branden Walker. His sisters Vilma (California), Rosa (New York), Migdalia (New York); father Angel Morales, Sr.; brothers Angel (Massachusetts), Wilfredo (Florida), George (Florida) and Robert (New York).
Visitation will be Sunday, September 27, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Father Thomas Fey officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Milledgeville.
