Howard C. Taylor, 81, entered into rest on Saturday, August 3, 2013.
Howard was born on October 12, 1931, in Hawkinsville, Georgia. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Haynesville. Howard worked as a heavy equipment operator for Medussa, formerly known as Penn-Dixie, and retired from there in 1989. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed cruising timber and logging. Howard dearly loved life and spending time with his family. His parents, Norman and Clara Taylor, daughter, Denise Taylor Graham, stepson, Randy Rampy, four brothers and two sisters, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Martha Taylor, children, Kathy Taylor Kirchman, Bonaire; Lisa Taylor, Hawkinsville; Phillip Howard Taylor, Hawkinsville; Ronnie Rampy, Hawkinsville and Karen Rampy Littlecreek, Warner Robins; four brothers, two sisters and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 6, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Haynesville. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to First Baptist Church of Haynesville, 811 Grovania Road, Hawkinsville, GA 31036.
