Howard Gregory, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Howard was born on February 29, 1940 in El Paso, Texas to the late William and Ethel Gregory. In his teenage years, his family moved to Tampa, Florida where Howard attended and graduated from Plant High School in 1959. He proudly served four years in the United States Army before continuing his education at Florida State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. In 1967, Howard married the love of his life, Ann Lunsford Gregory.
Following his graduation from college, Howard began his career at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service where he retired after 30 years. He then worked as the Director of Instruction for Middle Georgia Technical College for many years before retiring. Howard enjoyed spending time outdoors, sailing at Lake Sinclair, working in the yard, and dancing. However, his greatest joy came from time spent with his beloved family. Howard was a faithful member of Perry United Methodist Church.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 49 years, Ann Gregory of Warner Robins; daughter, Suzanne Gregory of Denver, Colorado; and siblings, Carolyn Gregory Torres (Lee), Diane Degenhart, and Daniel Gregory (Marianne), all of Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
