Hugh R. Giddens, 59, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2005 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be Saturday, October 29, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mr. Giddens was born in Wheeler County, Georgia on September 1, 1946. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and retired from National Linen as a Route Salesman. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was also a Mason in the Tyrian Lodge #111 and the DAV. His father, Hugh D. Giddens; brother, Randy Giddens, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Giddens, Warner Robins; daughters, Janda Gray, Warner Robins; Taska Yarbrough, Jones County; Melissa Raudenbush (Deven), Warner Robins; mother, Alda Giddens; and seven grandsons, Seth Hudson, Zachary Hudson, Chasyn Yarbrough, Chanse Yarbrough, Dustin Knowles, Cerrin Raudenbush, and Gage Raudenbush; “adopted son” Randy Bonawitz.
