Ignacia Talavera-Jaimes

Ignacia Talavera-Jaimes passed away at Atrium Navicent The Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, April 11, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother.

Ignacia was born on July 31, 1958, in Jalmolonga, Malinalco, Estado de México. She was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She was known for her kind heart, generosity, and her willingness to help others. She instilled these same values in her children, teaching them the importance of love, compassion, and family. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren. She adored and spoiled every one of them. Ignacia also shared a beautiful and enduring love with her husband, to whom she was married for 53 years.

Ignacia found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, cross-stitching, and knitting. She especially loved hosting and attending large family gatherings. To many in her extended family, she was more than a relative, she was a mother figure, offering unconditional love.

A woman of strong faith, Ignacia was a devoted member of Aposento Alto Church in Macon, where she was deeply respected and beloved by her church community.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Arturo Millan; children, Imelda Millan y Guillermo, Edith Millan y Abilio, Yuri Millan y Lucio, Fredy Millan, Enrrique Millan, Jeronimo Millan, Sofia Millan; grandchildren, Jonathan Popoca (Marlen Abundiz), Yadira Popoca (Manuel), Guadlupe Popoca (Angel), Jairo Millan, Irvin Roblero, Amanda Roblero, Yerik Roblero; great-grandchildren, Daniela Perete y (Noe), Allison Perete, Karin Popoca, Guillermo Popoca, Ignacio Arturito, and Angelito; parents, Miguel Talavera y Paz Jaimes; and brother, Reyes Talavera.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Aposento Alto Church in Macon. The family will receive friends following the service. Afterward, Ignacia Talavera-Jaimes will be laid to rest in Mexico at a later date.

Ignacia Talavera-Jaimes falleció en el Atrium Navicent The Medical Center, rodeada del amor de su familia, el sábado 11 de abril de 2026. Fue una esposa devota, una madre amorosa y una abuela muy querida.

Ignacia nació el 31 de julio de 1958 en Jalmolonga, Malinalco, Estado de México. Fue una ama de casa que sentía un gran orgullo al cuidar de su familia. Era conocida por su buen corazón, su generosidad y su disposición para ayudar a los demás. Inculcó estos mismos valores en sus hijos, enseñándoles la importancia del amor, la compasión y la familia. Su mayor alegría provenía de pasar tiempo con sus seres queridos, especialmente con sus nietos; adoraba y consentía a cada uno de ellos. Ignancia también compartió un amor hermoso y perdurable con su esposo, con quien estuvo casada durante 53 años.

Ignacia encontraba la felicidad en los placeres sencillos de la vida. Disfrutaba cocinar, la jardinería, el punto de cruz y tejer. Le encantaba especialmente organizar y asistir a grandes reuniones familiares. Para muchos miembros de su familia extendida, ella fue más que una pariente: fue una figura materna que ofrecía amor incondicional.

Mujer de fe inquebrantable, Ignancia fue una miembro devota de la Iglesia Aposento Alto en Macon, donde era profundamente respetada y amada por su comunidad eclesiástica.

Su recuerdo será atesorado por siempre por su esposo, Arturo Millan; sus hijos, Imelda Millan y Guillermo, Edith Millan y Abilio, Yuri Millan y Lucio, Fredy Millan, Enrrique Millan, Jeronimo Millan, Sofia Millan; sus nietos, Jonathan Popoca (Marlen Abundiz), Yadira Popoca (Manuel), Guadalupe Popoca (Angel), Jairo Millan, Irvin Roblero, Amanda Roblero, Yerik Roblero; sus bisnietos, Daniela Perete y (Noe), Allison Perete, Karin Popoca, Guillermo Popoca, Ignacio Arturito y Angelito; sus padres, Miguel Talavera y Paz Jaimes; y su hermano, Reyes Talavera.

Se celebrará un servicio fúnebre el sábado 18 de abril de 2026, a las 4:00 p.m. ...en la Iglesia Aposento Alto en Macon. La familia recibirá a los amigos después del servicio. Posteriormente, Ignacia Talavera-Jaimes recibirá sepultura en México en una fecha posterior.
