Ira Lee Nunnally

Ira Lee Nunnally, 89, entered into rest on Sunday, January 24, 2016.

Ira Lee was born on April 21, 1926 in Franklin, North Carolina to the late Claude and Hettie Cowart. A loyal member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, Ira Lee enjoyed the field ministries, cooking, square dancing and travelling.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas Nunnally and her parents.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Brenda Timmons (Charles) of Pitts; grandchildren, Charles Timmons of Macon and Tracy Jones-Darnell (Greg) of Tifton; three great grandchildren, Josie, Dalton and Anslee; siblings, Roy Cowart of Commerce, Dot Anthony of Nicholson, Ralph Cowart of Salem, Arkansas, Curtis Cowart of Marion, North Carolina, Junior Cowart of Commerce and Sue Lankford French of Allentown and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Afterwards, Ira Lee will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Ira Lee Nunnally to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon, Georgia 31201 or Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201.
