Jack Michael Leonard, 54, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 20, 2018.
Jack was born on April 30, 1964 to the late Calvin Grant and Lucille Cush Leonard. Born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, he graduated from Northside High School’s Class of ’82 where he was a state champion wrestler and excelled at football. Following high school, Jack worked at Robins Air Force Base for many years and was most recently self-employed. In his free time, he loved building cars and racing at dirt tracks all around middle Georgia. Jack was also very skilled with his hands and was a natural at fixing and repairing everything. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a man of faith who was loved by his family and friends. Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church was his church home.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 19 years, Stephanie Anne Leonard of Bonaire; and siblings, Jeff Leonard (Amy) and Jill Davis, both of Warner Robins, and Debra Woods (J.R.) of Holts Summit, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Matt and Haley Leonard, and Zachary and Joshua Buchanan.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 23, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with D.C.O. Jerry Bisping officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given to a fund benefiting Jack Leonard. These gifts can be made payable to McCullough Funeral Home with “Jack Leonard Memorial Fund” written in the memo line.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Mr. Leonard’s arrangements.
