Jacqueline C. Ethier Twining, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Bonaire, Georgia following a 7 year battle with cancer. Her parents, Leo Ethier and Alice Chamberland Ethier, preceded her in death. Jacqueline was a devoted homemaker who traveled extensively throughout Europe and the U.S. during her husband's military career. She is a former resident of Woonsocket, RI; Uxbridge, MA; and Chicopee, MA.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted husband, Richard Arthur Twining; her beloved children, Bruce Leo Twining (Marsha), Warner Robins, GA and Carolyn Vanderwarker (Brad), Chesapeake, Virginia; and two cherished grandchildren, Kristen Twining (North Haven, CT) and Lauren Twining (Bonaire, GA).
Jacqueline touched the lives of many people with her lovely smile and a tendency to listen when others were troubled. Family and friends brought her life great meaning. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2011 at her former Parish, St Anne's in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Father William C. Rousseau officiating. A graveside ceremony will follow in Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, Massachusetts at 3:00 PM.
