Warner Robins

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Marsh, who peacefully left this world on September 5, 2024. Jaqueline was born on June 18, 1940, in Jackson, Michigan, to the late Maximillian Gehard and Fern Rosina Koeppe.

She was a loving wife to the late Myron Norton Marsh Jr., and a devoted mother to Bridget "Bri" Butler, BreQ Butler, Jeffery "Jeff" Marsh (Judy), and her dedicated daughter Stacy Marsh. Jacqueline adored her fur baby and service animals from past Peter & Max to present, Paul Marsh, and treasured memories of her beloved grandsons, Robert David Butler, Nicholas Allen Butler, Seth Daniel Butler, Kyden DeJay Butler, and the late DJ Stanley Butler, Florence Mccullough and Stephan Henson.

She was preceded in death by her sister Marjorie Ann Gowen “Margie” and leaves behind her sister, Sallie Gross. She had a special bond with her late best friend, Mary. In addition to her immediate family, Jacqueline had a community of people whom she held dear as family such as her unofficial daughter Sheryl Rice and Michael Gramley "Mr. Mike" as part of her extended family.

Jacqueline found joy in her work as an inventory specialist at Robins Air Force Base, where she dedicated her time and energy helping others. She had a passion for music and enjoyed attending concerts by Garth Brooks and George Strait, especially when accompanied by her daughter Stacy.  An avid reader, she amassed a collection of books, with favorites including "Able Team" and works by Louis L'Amour. Jacqueline also had a soft spot for action movies, with Die Hard and Fast & Furious holding a special place in her heart.

Her unwavering faith led her to First United Methodist Church, where she found solace and community. Jacqueline had a gift for conversation and was known for her straightforward nature and sense of humor. She will be remembered for her strong convictions and her ability to speak her mind with clarity and determination.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Alice for her unwavering support. We are also thankful to all the compassionate staff at Houston Healthcare for their dedicated care and support throughout Jaqueline's journey and would like to specifically recognize Lauren, Kelly, Amanda, Angie, 2 Main, 3 Main, and IV Therapy staff from Houston Healthcare. Their dedication and support brought comfort to Jacqueline and her family during a difficult time.

Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of strength, kindness, and unwavering spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Rest in peace, Jacqueline Marsh. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
