Jacquelyn Winters, 79, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 21, 2016.
Jacquelyn was born on September 4, 1936 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Henry and Myrtle Ward Hudson. She worked as a secretary at Robins Air Force Base for many years until her retirement. Jacquelyn was a wonderful pianist and found great joy in singing in her church choir and attending Sunday School through the years. Most recently, she was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church. She also enjoyed crocheting and working puzzles. However, her greatest joy was found in her beloved family—especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, husband, L.B. Winters, sister, Doris Stoner, and brother, Wayne Hudson preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her sons, Theodore D. Unthank of Warner Robins; David W. Unthank (Kim) of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Melissa Engram, T.J. Unthank, Christi Unthank; five great-grandchildren; brother, Robert L. Hudson of Texas; and sister-in-law, Diane Hudson of Warner Robins.
Visitation with Jacquelyn's family will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Mrs. Winters will be laid to rest next to her late husband, L.B. Winters, in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of Jacquelyn Hudson Winters
to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A., Macon, Ga 31201 or Trinity Baptist Church, 505 Houston Lake Blvd., Centerville, Ga 31028.
