James Clark Alliston

Lizella

James Clark Alliston, age 63, of Lizella, Georgia, passed away on July 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of quiet generosity, sharp wit, and fierce love for his family and friends.

Born in Macon on May 31, 1962, to the late Clark and Brenda Wilcox Alliston, James was proud, loyal, and as strong-willed as they come. He spent much of his working life at Dunlap/Youmans/Butler Chevrolet, where he earned a reputation as a skilled and dependable professional. But those who really knew James understood that his work was only part of the story.

James was hardworking and generous to a fault. There are countless stories, many never even known, of the kindness he extended to those in need. He quietly paid for car repairs, helped stranded motorists get back on the road, covered utility bills, and made sure neighbors and strangers alike never went without food. He never had much because he gave what he had away, always putting others first without expecting anything in return.

He was quick-witted, smart, and funny — the kind of man who could keep you laughing in the worst of times. He was the best in the family, hands down, and his absence will leave a hole that can never be filled.

James deeply loved his family and friends, especially Rodney Rowland and the Rowland family, who cared for him selflessly and with great love during his lengthy illness. Their devotion meant everything to him.

James also had a passion for muscle cars, racing, gambling, women, and every animal lucky enough to find its way into his life.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughter, Brenda White (Donald); granddaughters, Kaylah Giles and Sarah White; sisters, Lori Webber (Jeff) and Anita Ennis (Gene); nephews, Ryan Ennis (Savannah) and Cody Webber (Samantha); niece, JoAnna Pope; numerous great nieces and nephews, who he adored; and several life-long friends.

At the request of the family, all services will be held privately.
