James Austin Causey, Sr.

James Causey, Sr., 91, entered into rest on Friday, February 27, 2009.

Mr. Causey was born on May 12, 1917, in Roanoke, Alabama. He was a charter member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and also a Mason belonging to Tyrian Lodge 111. His parents, Joseph and Mary Causey, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of sixty-two years, Sue Causey; son, James A. Causey, Jr. (Retia), Griffin; grandchildren, Michelle Traugh (Scott), Warner Robins, Kevin White and Kimberly Beam; great grandchildren, Jackson Austin Traugh, Kayla and Katie Beam and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at Shirley Hills Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
