James B. Brantley, 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 22, 2016.
James was born on November 8, 1921 in Hazlehurst, Georgia to the late James and Rebecca Harrington Brantley. He was a resident of Warner Robins from 1950-1991 where he was a member of Faith Assembly Church of God. James proudly served in the United States Navy until his retirement. Following his years of active duty, he worked civil service at Robins Air Force Base for several years. James always had a zest for life; he will always be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.
His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Helen Moehr of Sun City, Arizona and Joyce Stephens (Bob) of Fairbanks, Alaska; 5grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other beloved family members.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of James B. Brantley to the Smile Train Charity at P.O. Box 96231, Washington, D.C. 20090 or www.smiletrain.org.
