Deryl Hall passed peacefully on March 23, 2026, leaving his earthly home to enter the arms of his Lord and Savior.

He left behind his daughters, Tiffany Mazo, Angie Hughes (John), bonus daughter, Peggy Bailey (Dwain); bonus sons, Mike Mazo, Scott Mazo (Kim); grandkids, Trevor Mazo (Haley), Trent Mazo, Tom Hughes, Sophie Hughes, Jacob Hughes, and bonus grandchildren, Justin Hooks (Chelsey), Selena Clayton (Doug), and Lani Mazo; his sisters, Brenda Hall Griffin, and Kay Hall Stewart (Jerry); as well as several nieces and nephews.

Deryl was born in Montgomery County, Georgia, on November 6, 1941. His family settled in Houston County in 1954, where he graduated from Warner Robins High School. Deryl went on to receive a BBA in management from the University of Georgia in 1969. He was a die-hard Georgia Bulldog football fan, “Go Dawgs!”

Deryl returned to Warner Robins and became a permanent Houston County resident. Deryl proudly owned Redco Ltd, a roofing and construction company for many years, worked for the City of Warner Robins as an inspector, before retiring as a building maintenance supervisor for Houston County Board of Commissioners. He was also a devoted member of Bonaire Methodist Church.

Deryl valued family more than anything. He never missed a family event, especially for his grandchildren. Whether it was a reunion, birthday, graduation, or sports event, Deryl was sure to attend. He loved people and had a genuine interest in everyone he met. Deryl also never forgot a name or a face! One conversation with Deryl meant that he knew where you were from, who your parents were, your kids’ names, birthdates, and what they all did in life. His memory was like no other!

Deryl was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Herman and Vergie Ruth Hall; his brother, Bernard Dewitt Hall; his sister, Hilda Jacquelyn Hall Kersey; and his longtime partner, Sandra Tidwell Deason.
